St. Mary's by the Sea

St Mary’s By the Sea is the beautiful non-denominational wedding chapel located in the heart of Port Douglas. An historic church built in the 1880’s, the chapel has been fully restored and features a huge glass altar window which offers breathtaking views of the Coral Sea and rainforest clad mountains, stained glass windows, traditional wooden pews and a church bell which will be ringing on your wedding day.

St. Mary’s Catholic Church is a light and airy church, with large, high set windows to allow the church to be filled with light. There is a 35-place carpark at the site and a large covered area at the entrance to the church to allow for an all-weather dropoff.

St. David’s Church, Mossman (Anglican)

A beautiful stone church in the heart of Mossman, St. David’s is a heritage-listed site, which was built in an almost gothic style. The building is framed by towering raintrees and features stained glass windows.

St. Augustine’s Church, Mossman (Catholic)

St. Augustine’s Church is located in Mossman, adjacent to St. Augustine’s Primary School. The church is hexagonal in shape and has a covered area at the entrance to the church to allow for all-weather drop offs.
